Peaceful camping in the middle of a city? Where else but in Auburn Hills!

We have six log cabins nestled in Hawk Woods’ 80 acres of beautiful woods, meadows and marsh. With groomed nature trails, a marsh boardwalk and giant oak trees…you’ll think you’re in the woods up-north.

Each cabins feature table and benches, ceiling fan with light, four screened windows for great cross breeze, and three sets of bunk beds. Our 10 person cabin also includes a couch and has five sets of bunk beds. Twin size mattresses on all our beds assure you’ll drift off in peaceful comfort.  A large charcoal grill is available, or if you would rather, you have the option of cooking over the campfire at one of two fire pits.

After an exhilarating day spent outdoors, enjoy a hot shower in our clean, modern, restrooms… then gather around a crackling campfire and watch the stars come out. What a perfect way to end the day!

Our cabins are available to rent June 1^st through October 31^st. Experience all the beauty Michigan has to offer with days spent outdoors and nights spent out of the elements.

Cabin fees: $40 residents/$50 non residents per night for cabins that sleep six. $50 refundable security deposit also required at time of reservation.  Cabin 5 sleeps ten and the rates for this cabin are $60 residents/$80 non residents.  Call the Parks & Recreation office at 248-370-9353 to inquire about availability and reservations.
