 | | Nancy Buschmohle, Interim Treasurer |
All monies paid to the City are received and accounted for through this department. The Treasurer’s Office serves as the central location for all revenue collections and is responsible for all deposits and investments. These include revenues directly collected by the Treasurer’s Office and revenues collected by other areas and reported to the Treasurer’s Office. This includes billing and collection of property taxes with subsequent distribution of those collections to Avondale, Lake Orion, Rochester, and Pontiac Schools, Oakland Intermediate Schools, Oakland County, Oakland Community College, State of Michigan and of course the City of Auburn Hills. Our office also processes the following payments: Payment for water and sewer usage bills, payments for invoices and assessments, payment for miscellaneous accounts receivables, payment for City of Auburn Hills Parking Tickets, purchase of Dog Licenses. Daily interaction with citizens and visitors who telephone or stop in at City Hall gives the Treasurer’s Office a unique opportunity to be involved with the community. Please feel free to contact our office for further information any time 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
