TEEN VOLUNTEERS (Ages 13-18)
Get involved with your community. Learn skills that translate directly to work experience and earn valuable community service hours while having fun with our team at special events and Summer Camp! Contact the Community Center to get your application to join the fun! Grades 9-12 in fall of 2018.


TEEN COUNCIL (Ages 13-18)
As a Teen Council member, you will learn leadership skills by designing and planning fun activities, have access to special events, and earn valuable community service hours. YOUTH CAREER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Do you see yourself as a successful and passionate professional in your field and wanting to give back to the next generation? Apply to be a Youth Career Mentor with the City of Auburn Hills today. We are currently seeking qualified professionals to share career planning with teens in this Auburn Hills Teen Council program. Business, Automotive, Graphic Design, Government, Hospitality, Finance, IT, Robotics, Trades, and more wanted. Interested teens should connect with the Auburn Hills Teen Council to get the most up to date information on this new program.

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH (Ages 13-18)
The Auburn Hills Teen Council welcomes Social and Emotional Health speaker Jacqueline Rabine from MSU Extension. Jacqueline will discuss various aspects of social and emotional health, including stress and stress management and emotional mindfulness. We welcome all teens from the area to join the discussion and be active in their emotional and social well-being!

THREE-POINT SHOOTOUT CONTEST (Ages 13-18)
Auburn Hills Teen Council is hosting a Three-Point Shoot Out contest for kids and teens. Participants are given 60 seconds to shoot as many basketballs as they can from the 3-point line. Winners receive a trophy!

SLAB CLAY CREATIONS (Ages 8+)
Create a one of a kind slab mug to give to Mom for Mothers’ Day and Dad for Fathers’ Day or a fun fairy house. The first session is to create the piece and the second session is to glaze. Pieces will have to be left to fire and you are called once it is ready for pick up.

Children in grades 1-8 (2018/2019 school year) can experience the great outdoors with a variety of age-appropriate recreational activities designed to create a lifetime of memories. BEFORE & AFTER CARE
The Before & After Care program is offered to families who need supervision before and after camp.  The hours for the Before Care are 7:30AM-9:00AM, and After Care, 4:30PM-6:00PM.  Families must register prior to using this service. 

LUNCH BUDDIES
This program is offered to families who need supervision during the lunch hour before afternoon camp starts.  Lunch Buddies will run from 12:00PM-1:00PM, please bring a non-refrigerated nut-free lunch.  Families must register prior to using this service.

CUB CAMP (Ages 4-5)
This program helps prepare children for the upcoming school year by involving them in group activities including cooperative games, physical fitness, arts & craft projects, sports, snack time and more! Camp is held outdoors in Civic Center Park and indoors at the Community Center. Children should bring a nut-free snack with them (non-refrigerated) and dress appropriately for the weather. VARIETY

DANCE CLASSES
Classes are structured to educate students on the language of dance, counting music, cognitive skills and body placement. Learning to dance teaches how to concentrate and instills the basis for teamwork while maintaining individuality to help promote self-esteem.  Classes are taught by Harmony Dance Company. PRESCHOOL CREATIVE MOVEMENT (Ages 3-4)
An enjoyable introduction to dance that will enhance basic motor skills, cognitive learning and social development. The class is taught with creative song and dance and simple routines are learned.  Parents are required to stay.
