WOODSHOP SAFETY TRAINING
Have you ever wanted to work with wood or learn how to use a variety of power tools?  Attend this training class and become certified to use our woodshop.  You will get trained on all of the equipment in our woodshop.  You must pass the training to be able to come during Open Woodshop hours. Limited to 5 people.

OPEN WOODSHOP
The Woodshop will be open for small repairs and projects.  We have a variety of tools and supplies that you are able to utilize to complete your project. Completion of the Woodshop Safety Training program is required to participate in Open Woodshop.

WOODSHOP CERTIFICATION
Do you already have extensive experience working with woodshop power tools?  Register for this class and you will be contacted by one of our woodshop instructors for a one-on-one session.  This one-hour wood shop certification test includes both written and practical sessions to allow you to demonstrate your skills and become immediately certified to take advantage of open woodshop access. #555555

INTRO TO PICKLEBALL
Learn this fast growing game of Pickleball, combining elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.  You will learn serving, scoring and volley line rules while playing games.  A limited number of wooden paddles will be available to borrow from instructor during class time.  Please bring your own paddle.

Who remembers playing kickball as a kid?  It’s fun, easy, and anyone can play! CO-REC SOFTBALL LEAGUE

Teams play early weeknight games during the 14 game season. Top four teams advance to the playoff round. Team fee includes: game balls, playoff officials, sponsor trophies & custom t-shirts for league and playoff champions. Call to receive packet/registration information.

MARTIAL ARTS 

Master Instructor, National Champion, and silver medalist at both the 2014 & 2016 World Karate Championships, Kirk Rehn, leads this program for men and women.  Classes will be based on the core principles of percussion, grappling and weaponry within the martial science curriculum.  Self-discipline, focus, awareness of environment, physical fitness, flexibility, along with basic movements and self-protection will be emphasized.  Please wear athletic clothing or approved uniform.  Ages 14 and up.

EISCHENS YOGA

Create a practice to find healing, balance and alignment in your daily life. Learn simple poses that you can practice at home to develop strength, flexibility, alignment, balance & awareness, while you release tension and stress. Class includes breathing techniques, transformational poses, yoga flow, and a restorative pose. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and blanket to class.  We supply props used in class to make our poses better. All poses can be modified or alternative posed given as needed. RELAX & RESTORE YOGA

Enjoy a gentle practice of simple poses designed to help you relax tight and tense muscles, so that you can restore your mind, body and spirit.  Class includes breathing techniques, gentle movement, restorative/supported poses, and a longer guided relaxation pose.  All poses can be modified or alternative poses given.  A good class for anyone, especially beginners, or those dealing with injury or pain.  Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and blanket, bolster (highly recommended) to class.  Most props for restorative poses are provided. CORE & TONING

An intense workout for the midsection (muffin top), this class focuses on toning and strengthening the body’s core abdominal and back muscles.  This powerful workout for the “powerhouse” of your body is combined with other exercises which will tone and sculpt other muscles in addition. BEGINNER TAI CHI

This class is an introduction to Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan and the 108 posture hand forms. Movements in this form flow smoothly and steadily to maximize the generation of internal energy, as well as the release of tension.  The practice of Tai Chi has been known to enhance circulation, balance and flexibility.
