Commending an Employee

When you wish to say thank you, or commend a Police Officer or other employee for a job well done, you can come into the Police Department or call during regular business hours and ask to speak with the Office of the Chief of Police, Operations Division Commander, or the on-duty Watch Commander. You may also write a letter or e-mail to the Police Department at anytime.

If Possible, try to remember the name of the employee and the circumstance surrounding how you were helped. The employee will receive a copy of your letter and may receive an award or letter of commendation.
