Auburn Road Reconstruction & Water Main Replacement
The City will be upsizing the water main from 12" to 16" on both east and west of downtown to the City limits. As part of this project, we will also be repaving the road both east and west of downtown to the City limits.

Veterans Memorial Project
The current memorial is located at the intersection of N. Squirrel Road and Auburn Road. The new memorial will be placed at the City's cemetery, located at 150 S. Squirrel Road. It is intended that the new memorial will distinguish the 295 veterans from our community who served in the armed forces during World War II, but will be expanded to also recognize all veterans and active duty military who have died in active service, as well as those veterans interred in the cemetery.

Riverside Park Bank Stabilization
The project as proposed consists of three areas of work along the bank of the Clinton River within the park boundaries because critical erosion is occurring. Two locations are proposed to be restored using native plantings and boulders, while the existing failing wooden boardwalk would be removed, and the bank armored with a natural limestone ledgestone wall.

Kayak Point Park
The project consists of transforming the former Country Kitchen site into a passive park called Kayak Point. This park will offer access to the Clinton River along with a small shelter, parking and green space. The site is located on the northeast corner of Auburn Road and Opdyke Road. 60% of the funding for this project will be funded from a grant.

Municipal Campus Pavilion
A new pavilion will be constructed near the site of the former Seyburn Mansion in the City's Civic Center Park. The pavilion will be 60' x 30' and offer views of the nearby pond and woods. The facility will have electricity and will be suitable for multiple types of events.

Manitoba Park Improvements

Hawk Woods Pavilion
A new pavilion is planned for the location where the previous lodge once stood at Hawk Woods. The pavilion will be large enough for at least 40 people, which is the number of people the cabins can typically host. The pavilion will have electrical outlets and access to water.

M-59 & Executive Hills Watermain Connection
The Public Utilities division will be adding a second watermain connection to the City water system between north and south of M-59 to help with emergency and redundancy situations. There will also be a 12" pressure reducing valve (PRV) added to control flow.
